In a roundtable discussion, held in the White house, in the presence of pharmaceutical company executives, president Trump wondered whether a flu shot can help American in the fight against the virulent coronavirus. An executive directly replied with a “no”.

In principle, the flu vaccine aims at fighting infections linked to influenza viruses, which differ greatly from the novel coronavirus. Yet, it can help the country respond better to the fierce covid19 outbreak, even if it’s unlikely to prevent catching coronavirus

  1. Getting the flu shot is stupid , the pharma companies make lots of money from pushing it and it does nothing . It’s full of poison stuff like mercury and can cause other illnesses . Just say a big NO .

  2. Had the flu shot two years ago. I developed transverse myelitis from a reaction to it and couldn’t walk for months. Had to stop working. Even now I still am unable to drive. Diagnostic tests and numerous visits to neurology have cost me thousands of dollars.
    Most people do not have those types of serious reactions and the flu kills thousands of people every year. You have to consider the risks vs the benefits.
